Welcome.

You’re new here. Me too. Hello.

My name is Mia, and if you’re here, you likely know me already. Or know me through some form of social media platform (or social platform? Which is it?). Instagram and Twitter are my current frequent haunts, but also Facebook (though limited to a handful of nice, diligently well-moderated groups). I’m trying Discord but even there I get social anxiety.

And if you’ve “met” me through these other platforms, yes, this is another one. (If you’ve been around long enough, I’m retiring the old Jadecow. Sad, but I like consistency.) But does anyone blog anymore? People seem to vlog more, and I admit, I do enjoy videos very much. (Hi, YouTube Premium. I especially like studio/office tours. And grocery hauls, even though I loathe doing the groceries. And I burst with love over loquacious dogs.) But I don’t have the space, equipment, or motivation for videos, so here we are.

Again, if you’ve “met” me through other platforms, some content here will be different. Sketches. Art supplies. Things worthy of deep enthusiasm. Things worthy of WTF-humans-WHY. Struggles. If you like that sort of thing, stick around a bit. If not, blessings go with you to your next interest.

For those willing to see what’s next: welcome, and hello again.
